Here at Harvest, we are passionate about loving God and loving people. Whether you are just beginning to ask questions about God and faith or you are a committed believer looking for a place to put down your roots, we welcome you to Harvest.
We believe church ought to be a relevant and exciting place where you can meet with God and get involved in what He’s doing. If you’ve never visited Harvest Church, we are excited to host you! We have two services every Sunday at 9am & 11am.

Harvest Church Ministries
Pastors Jonathan & Laura Bryan
Jonathan and Laura Bryan are both proven leaders here at Harvest. Jonathan is the son of founding Pastors, Mark and DD Bryan, and as such has been a part of Harvest since its inception in 1996. Laura came to the church in 2009 and has been devotedly engaged ever since. Jonathan and Laura have been married since 2017 and have three children
Pastor Jonathan Bryan has been a part of Harvest Church since its birth in 1996. He has been an integral part of the church and it’s growth over the years by serving in a wide variety of capacities, including Children’s Pastor, Youth Pastor, Worship Pastor, Executive Pastor, Director of Boise Harvest College, and overseen Small Groups, our First Impressions operations, our membership programs, lead many missions trips all over the world, and has written music thats been heard all over the world. Pastor Jonathan has been on staff for 17 years, was licensed as a pastor in 2012, set in as an elder in 2023 and now the Lead Pastor of Harvest Church.
Laura has served on many teams, both here at Harvest, and on mission teams internationally. Spending 12 years as a teacher in Children’s Ministry, she has also led as a small group leader, a youth leader, a worship leader, and currently oversees our Nursery teams. Laura also spent time on staff working in the business office under JoAnne Richter’s mentorship. Laura holds an Associate of Theology from Portland Bible College, graduating with honors. She is currently loving the season of motherhood as she raises her children and comes alongside her husband to support him in this new chapter.

Our Values

Loving God Passionately
You will show me the way of life, granting me the joy of your presence and the pleasrues of living with you forever. - Psalms 16:11
We are a people who love God with all our hearts. It is all about Him. We do all we do to love Him and give Him all the glory. We love His presence. We love to worship. We love prayer. We simply love to spend time with Him. Our desire is that you too, will become in love with Him.
Honoring Scripture
All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right. 2 Timothy 3:16 NLT
We believe the Bible to be the infallible Word of God. It is always true, never changing and transcends time and culture. All that we do is built upon the Bible. We will honor His Word even when it’s not popular. We love His Word!
Living Spirit-Filled
But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against these things! - Galations 5:22-23
We believe the Holy Spirit comes to live in us at the point of conversion. We believe that we can all be baptized in the Spirit and be filled with His Spirit continually. He guides us, empowers us, comforts us and helps us to do great things for Him.
Connecting with Purpose
He makes the whole body fit together perfectly. As each part does its own special work, it helps the other parts grow, so that the whole body is healthy and growing and full of love. - Ephesians 4:16 NLT
You have a purpose! You are important and valuable to God and to us. You are not an accident. You are not average. You are wonderfully made. His plans for you are good and we desire to help you find and fulfill your purpose in life.
Growing as Disciples
My old self has been crucified with Christ It is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. So I live in this earthly body by trusting in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me. -Galations 2:20 NLT
Everything God created was designed to grow, including you and I. We believe that becoming a Christian is not the end, but only the beginning. We watn everyone who calls Harvest Church their home to behave the way they believe.
Reaching People Everywhere
But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you. And you will be

Lost people matter to God. Jesus came to seek and save the lost. He has
entrusted you and me to be His voice to a world that needs Him. We are
passionate about reaching people everywhere. We will encourage you,
challenge you, beg you and hope to inspire you to reach people for Jesus.

Building Churches Strategically
Their responsibility is to equip God’s people to do his work and build up the
church, the body of Christ. - Ephesians 4:12 NLT
We work hard at building a church that would make God proud. We also
desire to build a church that grows through starting campuses, planting
churches, and sending missionaries. We hope you catch the vision with us
and become a part of building Christ’s Church.
Strengthening Families
But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord Joshua 24:15b NKJV
We believe in the family and are committed to defending and promoting the
family institution as God designed it. From strengthening marriages, to
parenting and raising children, to equipping and releasing single people to be all
God has called them to be. We stand with the family in all its beauty and
dynamic. We believe that marriage as God intended is between one man
and woman, as the Bible defines and we support their individual and
collaborative roles in the home.
Statement of Faith
What we believe and why we believe it.
Our Beliefs
We are a Bible-believing church. From Genesis though Revelation, both Old and New Testaments, we hold all 66 books of the Bible to be the inspired Word of God. From this central and foundational belief flow these following truths.
The Trinity
We believe in the Trinity, which is the doctrine that God is one, existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. The three persons of the Trinity are distinct and unified, co-existing in perfect harmony and working together to create and sustain the world. We recognize that since God is the Creator and the source of all life, He exists in three persons who are distinct yet united, understanding each other completely and working together to bring about His plans for humanity. We believe that the Trinity is an essential part of understanding God and His purpose for us. By embracing the Trinity, we can have a deeper relationship with the Lord and better understand His will for our lives.
The Bible
We believe in the divine inspiration of the Bible, that it is the true and inspired word of God. We believe that the Bible is our standard for life, and its truth, integrity, and relevance is of utmost importance. The Bible is not just a book, but a living guide, full of God’s wisdom and guidance. Through scripture, we learn about God’s character, how to live and act, and how to grow in our spiritual journey. We believe that by reading and studying the Bible, we are able to draw closer to God and deepen our understanding of His love.
Jesus
We believe in Jesus Christ, the Son of God. He is the central figure of Christianity, the Word of God made flesh. Jesus was sent by God to be the ultimate sacrifice for our sins so that we could enjoy an eternal life with Him. Jesus’ teachings on love, forgiveness, humility, and repentance are at the core of our beliefs. We also believe in Jesus’ resurrection, that it was proof of His deity and the promise of eternal life for all those who believe. We are called to follow Jesus, to live lives of holiness, and to share the good news of the gospel. As we learn to love and serve others, we are reminded of Jesus’ example of love and sacrifice.
Salvation
We believe in salvation through faith in Jesus Christ. We believe that Jesus was sent by God to save us and give us eternal life. Salvation is only possible through faith in Jesus and repentance of our sins. We understand that we are saved through grace and not by any works of our own. The Bible teaches us that no matter what mistakes we make, God’s love and grace are always available to us. We believe that through accepting Jesus as our Lord and Savior, we are able to have the assurance of salvation and the promise of eternal life with God.
Baptism
We believe in the importance of baptism. Baptism symbolizes a believer's commitment to Jesus and His teachings, and is an outward act of confessing our faith in Him. We believe that baptism is essential to Christian discipleship, and it is a beautiful way to proclaim our allegiance to Jesus. Baptism is a sacred and meaningful experience, and we are deeply committed to helping believers celebrate this important milestone in their journey of faith. By celebrating and honoring baptism, we are proclaiming our faith in Jesus and our desire to serve Him and others.
Holy Spirit
We believe in the Holy Spirit, who is the third person of the Trinity. The Holy Spirit is the unifying power between God and humanity, and is the source of our comfort, guidance, and strength. The Holy Spirit helps us to understand and appreciate the Bible, and helps us to live out its teachings in our lives. We believe that the Holy Spirit is with us always, faithfully guiding us in our walk with God. We also believe that the Holy Spirit gives us gifts such as wisdom, knowledge, understanding, healing, miracles, tongues, and prophecy so that we can be used to serve God and spread His love.
The Church
We believe in the Christian doctrinal belief of The Church. We believe that the Church is a holy assembly of believers, united in faith and love. We strive to be a community of believers who are united in our faith in Jesus Christ and in our commitment to serve Him and His kingdom. We are committed to loving God and loving others, and to be known for our love for one another. We believe that the Church is a body of believers who are called to serve and to proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ to all people. With the guidance of the Holy Spirit, we seek to be faithful disciples of Jesus and to follow His teachings. We strive to live out our faith through loving actions and service to our community and the world.
Prayer
We believe in the power of prayer, both individually and corporately, as an expression of faith in God's work in our lives. Prayer is an essential part of a Christian life and is used to talk to God and to communicate with Him. We pray for guidance, strength, healing, protection, and for our families, friends, and community. Through prayer, we seek to deepen our understanding of God's will and His plans for our lives. Praying helps us grow closer to God and to gain a better understanding of His will and how we can best serve Him. When we pray, we open ourselves up to God and He will answer us in His own way and in His own time. Prayer is a beautiful and powerful way to communicate with our Heavenly Father and to seek His love and guidance.
