Harvest Homeschool Advantage is a modified homeschool program designed to help parents and families. Along with other choice curriculum, this program will help develop an individualized instructional program using Accelerated Christian Education (ACE) to assist families with their children’s education. Classroom staff and teachers facilitate individual instruction for each child as they work through their various subjects. Parents then review their students’ work and assist in completing any necessary assignments at home. Students will be tested to determine the correct placement for each subject in the curriculum prior to start of school year. We exist as a co-educational, schooling location that encompasses grades one through twelve. It is operated as a non-profit, non-denominational, educational ministry of Harvest Church in Meridian, Idaho.

Harvest Homeschool Advantage works together with the home to provide a Christ-centered, Bible-based academic education. Our goal is to stimulate and strengthen the mind and faith of children enrolled, laying a strong spiritual and mental foundation. We understand the value of partnering with the family to raise Godly children, a transforming influence in the world.

HHA Registration Process:

  • Fill out a parent application hereHHA Parent Application
  • Parent/Guardian Interview: Once an application is completed, you will be contacted for a parent interview. Students in grades 7-12 will accompany their parent for a student interview. At the student interview, your child will submit a prepared essay. It should be a hand-written, 100-word, personal testimony of when they committed their life to Christ.
  • Placement Testing: Students in grades 2-12 will take placement tests to determine where they will be placed in the ACE curriculum. Placement testing will be scheduled after enrollment has been approved by the school board.
  • Pastoral Recommendation: We have very high standards for the students that are accepted into HHA. Each student will be required to have a pastoral recommendation before consideration for enrollment. This recommendation can come from a current pastor, youth leader, or Sunday School supervisor. *More information will be given at the parent/guardian interview.
  • Consideration for enrollment: After interviews are completed and recommendations are received, each student’s name will be brought before the HHA school board for consideration for enrollment. Each parent/guardian will be contacted when an enrollment decision has been made.
  • Register/Enroll: If your child is accepted into HHA, the next step will be to register/enroll your child. The following non-refundable fees for each child will be due at that time.
  • Fees: Registration $50, Activity/Supply $50, Curriculum $100.  *You will receive detailed instructions on how to do this.
