Salem Christian Center
In 1992, Theodore and Zamfira Ciuciui (chew-CHEWy) moved from Romania to Portland to pursue a degree in theology. There, they became life-long friends with Pastors Mark and DD Bryan. Later, Theo and Zamfira moved back to Romania and pioneered a great church there, Salem Christian Church, in Oradea. We have long supported the Ciuciuis through prayer, finances and sending teams. Today, Theo’s eldest son, Ted and his wife Mona, are the lead pastors of that church. Please continue to pray for this family and their labor of love in building the Kingdom of God in Romania!
Boise Rescue Mission Ministries
Since 1958, BRM has been restoring faith, hope and family across the Treasure Valley by teaching the Word of God and providing food, shelter, clothing and opportunities to recover from homelessness for men, women and children in need. Their service reaches the homeless and addicted of Boise, Nampa and surrounding areas from five unique locations in Ada and Canyon counties. At the heart of BRM, it isn’t about taking care of homeless men, women and children by addressing physical needs — food, shelter, clothing — it’s just as much about addressing mental, emotional and spiritual needs. To volunteer, simply fill out the form available on their website and a member of their volunteer staff will contact you to arrange details. Go to www.boiserm.org.
